All About Lorelei Thalia Arabella

It’s so nice to meet you! I was born and raised in Colorado where I developed my love for nature and reading side by side. If you’re anything like me, the public library was my home away from home. I had a particularly lonely childhood and learned to connect with fictional characters before I learned how to relate to others in real life. At nineteen I enlisted in the United States Air Force, where I started as a Flight Equipment Technician and later became a Aeromedical Evacuation Flight Medic. I retired and decided it was time to chase my lifelong dream of writing.

I am a proud member and advocate of the Queer Community. My work is centered around challenging harmful societal structures, finding beauty and hope in darkness and learning just how healing “found family” and love can truly be. As a writer, I strive to create worlds that my readers can disappear into and come out with a stronger voice for who they are and what they believe in.

I firmly believe your voice can be found through reading and  that books not only teach us inner strength, but also how to share that inner strength with others.

While my work explores darker themes, it is geared toward learning to overcome the challenges we may face while understanding that we are not alone in our journey. And that love prevails. Always.

What About Personal Life?

I am an animal lover through and through! I am a proud fur mama to two dogs. Rosie, who is a loving Black Mouth Cur and Kiba, a playful and affectionate Chaweenie. (Yes, I did name him after the anime character from Naruto!)
I am a loved and very lucky wife to the most wonderful husband.
I am a huge anime fan, with an array of hobbies! I paint, draw, sing, read and enjoy cinematic orchestras. I regularly stress over things outside of my control (oops) and adore crochet and rainy days.
The farmer’s markets are a go to for me, and I volunteer with equine therapy services for fellow veterans, special needs students and adults.
